2.1 Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) — 45 C.F.R. Parts 160 & 164

2.2 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) — 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq.

2.3 Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) — 29 U.S.C. § 201 et seq.
Ace Care Team Services complies with the Fair Labor Standards Act, including provisions governing minimum wage, overtime compensation, recordkeeping, and child labor standards. All employees are classified correctly as exempt or non-exempt and compensated accordingly. Home care workers are subject to the FLSA’s Home Care Final Rule (effective January 1, 2015), which extended federal minimum wage and overtime protections to most home care workers employed by third-party agencies.
2.4 Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 — 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.

Ace Care Team Services conducts background checks on applicants and employees using consumer reports obtained through accredited Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs). All background check activities are conducted in full compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Applicants are provided with required disclosures and authorizations prior to any background check, and their rights under the FCRA — including the right to dispute inaccurate information — are upheld in all circumstances.
2.7 Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) — 29 U.S.C. § 651 et seq.
Ace Care Team Services complies with applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, including home care workers. This includes adherence to the Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 C.F.R. § 1910.1030), Hazard Communication Standard, Personal Protective Equipment requirements, and applicable OSHA guidelines for healthcare and home care settings.
2.8 National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) — 29 U.S.C. § 151 et seq.
Ace Care Team Services respects the rights of employees to engage in protected concerted activity as defined by the National Labor Relations Act. We do not interfere with, restrain, or coerce employees in the exercise of their NLRA rights.
2.9 Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) — 8 U.S.C. § 1324a
Ace Care Team Services verifies the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees through the completion of Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, in accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. We participate in the E-Verify program where required by state or federal law. We do not discriminate in the hiring process based on citizenship status or national origin.
2.10 Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) — 29 U.S.C. § 2601 et seq.
Eligible employees of Ace Care Team Services are entitled to up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year for qualifying family and medical reasons, in accordance with the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993. FMLA rights and obligations are communicated to all eligible employees upon hire and upon request for qualifying leave.

Parts 37 and 38, and applicable Medicaid NEMT billing requirements where services are provided to Medicaid beneficiaries. All vehicles are regularly inspected and maintained in compliance with state DOT requirements. Drivers are licensed, background-checked, and trained in passenger assistance and safety.
