Key Objectives

Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of nursing staff.
Assist with daily living activities to promote patient comfort and well-being.
Enhance the overall patient experience through attentive and compassionate service.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to maintain a safe and clean care environment.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly.
Support patients during meals, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
Maintain patient hygiene and comfort by changing linens and assisting with toileting needs.
Help transport patients safely within the facility as needed.
Ensure patient rooms and care areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and team members.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a healthcare or patient care setting preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care techniques is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate attitude.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and perform routine care tasks.
Willingness to comply with hospital safety and confidentiality standards.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous.
