Key Objectives

Deliver direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Monitor patient health and report changes promptly to the healthcare team.
Assist with treatment plans, medication administration, and patient education.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to support continuity of care.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside care including wound care, vital signs monitoring, and hygiene assistance.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments following safety guidelines.
Observe and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
Support patients and families with education on health management and recovery processes.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
Assist registered nurses and physicians with clinical procedures as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-friendly care environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care techniques, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
Basic computer skills for documentation and electronic health records.
