Key Objectives

  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Monitor patient health and report changes promptly to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with treatment plans, medication administration, and patient education.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to support continuity of care.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide bedside care including wound care, vital signs monitoring, and hygiene assistance.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments following safety guidelines.
  • Observe and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
  • Support patients and families with education on health management and recovery processes.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
  • Assist registered nurses and physicians with clinical procedures as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-friendly care environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
  • Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care techniques, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and electronic health records.
