Key Objectives

Provide essential nursing care and assistance to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and medical staff.
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout their hospital stay.
Support the healthcare team by performing routine clinical and non-clinical tasks efficiently and compassionately.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Observe and report any changes in patients’ conditions or behaviors to nursing staff promptly.
Help prepare patients for medical procedures and assist during examinations as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment adhering to infection control protocols.
Support patient transportation within the hospital, including transfers and positioning.
Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and team members.
Document care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
Physical stamina to assist patients and perform tasks that require lifting, standing, and walking.
